St. John's Cathedral

Most of the early English speaking Metis were protestant of Scottish orgin. With no Presbyterian churches around, many of these people attended the Anglican services at St. John's. The cemetery is filled with many prominent names from the Metis community. The most prominent name is perhaps John Norquay, who in 1878 became the first native born Premier of Manitoba.

St. John's Cathedral is located at 135 Anderson Ave.
