The Provincial Archives of Manitoba located at 200 Vaughan St. is now the home of the Hudson's Bay Archives. The documents date back to the 1670's. The collection includes HBC establishments and administrative headquarters in North America, ships owned or chartered by the HBC, private manuscripts, and published. Also found in the Hudson Bay Archives is a photograph collection, dating from 1860 but mostly post-1930. The collection contains about 100,000 images.
